Nonstandard Tungsten Carbide Rods

Tungsten carbide provides a long-lasting, wear-resistant option and it is an extremely hard material, almost as hard as diamond. Tungsten carbide parts offer a better alternative in the case of industrial parts subject to wear. These include knives and blades, molds, punches, guides, etc. It is often used for die components in high volume manufacturing situations. It also used for machine parts that come in contact with very abrasive materials. Very smooth, polished finishes can be produced on tungsten carbide components which improves wear resistance of the component and aids significantly in metal forming applications.
