Product info
Tungsten carbide round blade also called Cemented carbide blades, are made of carbide, an alloy material made from hard compounds of refractory metals and bonded metals through a powder metallurgical process.
Cemented carbide has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, better strength and toughness, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, etc. In particular, its high hardness and wear resistance remain largely unchanged even at a temperature of 500°C and still have a high hardness at 1000°C.
Cemented carbide, also known as tungsten carbide alloy, is made of high quality tungsten carbide + cobalt powder mixed by formula ratios and sintered by pressing, with high hardness, high strength, high wear resistance and high modulus of elasticity, belonging to the powder metallurgy industry. Cemented carbide as the teeth of modern industry, carbide tools play a fundamental role in promoting the development of the manufacturing industry.Cemented carbide is distinguished by grain size and can be divided into ordinary carbide, fine grain carbide and sub-fine and ultra-fine grain carbide, with the newly introduced double crystal carbide. Distinguished by its main chemical composition, it can be divided into tungsten carbide-based cemented carbide and titanium carbide-based cemented carbide. Tungsten carbide-based carbides include tungsten-cobalt (YG), tungsten-cobalt-titanium (YT) and rare carbide (YW), each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages, with tungsten carbide (WC), titanium carbide (Tic) and niobium carbide (NbC) as the main components and the commonly used metal bonding phase is Co. Titanium carbide-based carbides are carbides with Tic as the main component and the commonly used metal bonding phases Mo and Ni. Cemented carbide has high hardness (86 to 93 HRA, equivalent to 69 to 81 HRC) second only to diamond, good thermal hardness (up to 900 to 1000°C, maintaining 60 HRC); high flexural strength (MPa5100), good impact toughness and corrosion resistance extremely high chemical inertness and other characteristics of general alloy blades are not available.
